My Picks: Black Cat Lacquer Winter Collection

I received these Black Cat Lacquer polishes in beginning of December, and I am just now coming around to wearing them. I have 3 beauties to show from the Winter Collection.

Here is one layer of Black Cat Lacquer Holiday On The Moon shown over Rimmel Midnight Blue. I tried many different blue bases for this one, but this shimmery dark blue came out the BEST! This glitter is a really dense mixture of small glitter and hexes, blue and silver square glitter, silver moon and star glitter, and light blue moon glitter. All the glitter is insanely holographic. The formula was good for such a dense glitter, and this could probably be built on itself but I don't think would look as good as it does when it is layered. I used 1 coat of Gelous and SV for a super smooth finish.

This is one coat of Black Cat Lacquer Vogue layered over a light grey creme (American Apparel Echo Park). Vogue consists of a whole rainbow of small hex glitter but also mixed in with black and white glitter. This is fun over grey, because you can see all the different colors! I used the dabbing method to apply this with this sort of density, because it has a pretty thick formula.

Sally Hansen Celeb City + Black Cat Lacquer Frozen irregular glitter

Black Cat Lacquer Frozen is an irregular glitter with icy blue, purple, silver, and white glitter shards. This is definitely utilized best when layered over a base polish as opposed to itself. The formula wasn't bad, but I used the dabbing method to apply this over my silver base polish. That way I get a good amount of glitter on my nail. I decided to layer it over Celeb City which kind of hides the silver glitter, but I actually prefer this being dominated by silver anyways so I thought it was a good base for this!
