Hi there! It's still February so hearts are still on my nails...

Glequin Framed Hearts under shade

Simply enough, I started with a grey base (American Apparel Echo Park), then used a clear polish to apply the glequins one by one. Then I used a fast drying topcoat and tape to paint the hearts with a pink polish (American Apparel Coney Island). Finished it up by topcoating one more time. I wasn't too crazy about the shade of pink I used for the hearts...I kind of wanted a softer/lighter pink. But I do love the grey/pink combination! My pinky nail is so small that I kind of ended up quickly freehanding the heart (hence it looks like crap). Well I did this all under two 45 minute episodes of Skins (the British version) so I guess I was rushing a bit.
